Master of the Universe, I am Yours and my dreams are Yours, I dreamed a dream and I do not know what it is. Whether I have dreamed of myself, whether my friends have dreamed of me or whether I have dreamed of others, if the dreams are good, strengthen them and reinforce them like the dreams of Joseph. And if the dreams require healing, heal them like the bitter waters of Mara by Moshe our teacher, and like Miriam from her leprosy,and like Hezekiah from his illness, and like the bitter waters of Jericho by Elisha. And just as You transformed the curse of Bilam the wicked into a blessing, so transform all of my dreams for me for the best.

May he not have even a little insufficiency, or physical defect, or imperfection, and not be an angry or aggressive man. May he just be modest with a humble spirit, healthy, and strong.

Blessed G-d, Who has Great Knowledge and have pity upon all those who are having difficulty in finding their mate, in particular (specify the names of those you wish to pray for). Help them! Save them quickly, so that each person will find his/her truly compatible, intended mate, quickly, speedily, without any more delay, difficulty and suffering. We do not know, nor have we any idea how to really seek our true mates, for only You know how difficult it is. All matches are made up of two opposites. And many times the distances between the two are so wide that it seems impossible to get them together.
The only way to join them is with knowledge, the true knowledge that makes all partnerships. We must therefore hear Torah teachings from the most knowledgeable people, the ones who have been endowed with the true Torah teachings. But due to our many sins, these Rabbis are sometimes hidden from us. And now, from where will our help come?
Our eyes are turned to You, G-d. You, Who are filled with compassion. You, Who makes matches. Have mercy upon Your nation Israel, and upon those who seek their mates, and send to each one his/her truly intended mate. Let them be compatible, helpful and supportive. Master of the Universe! Who is filled with compassion; Who sees from the very beginning of Creation, until its very end; Who governs His world with kindness and compassion; have compassion and mercy upon all of us and show us Your path, the path that will lead us to our true mates. Give us merit! Help us!
May those we pray for quickly find their true soul mate. With mazal tov, may they marry in a good time — for a long life, full of goodness and peace — so that they help and support each other. Let them suffer no marital strife, G-d forbid. Rather, let them live with love, peace and harmony, in holiness and purity.
May all Your nation Israel live in harmony, free of sin. May they all merit to have sons and daughters, grandchildren and succeeding generations, until the end of time. And may all their offspring live and be well. May they have long, healthy and successful lives.
Master of the Universe! Fulfill all our requests with mercy. Fulfill all that we begged and prayed to You for, Master of Mercy, Master of Compassion. For Your mercy is boundless and You want even those completely distant from You, even someone small and insignificant as myself, to ask You to impart Your goodness upon me. For You are good and You impart good upon others. This is Your greatness, when You give over this goodness even to those distant from You, for You have compassion even upon those who are not worthy, and You have mercy even upon those who do not deserve it. Especially since I have merited seeing so much good from You already.
Therefore, Your servant has found in his heart to plead before You concerning all of the above. I am not relying upon my merits, but upon Your compassion, and upon the merits of the truly righteous, who have many merits and bring others to merits and good deeds. Prayer For Rain
Our G-d and the G-d of our forefather remember Avraham who flowed to You like water. You blessed him like a tree planted by streams of water. You rescued him from fire and water. He passed Your test by planting good deeds by every source of water. For Avraham’s sake, do not keep back water.
Remember Yitzchak, whose birth was foretold when Avraham offered the angels a little water. You asked his father to spill his blood like water. In the desert Yitzchak dug and found wells of water.
For Yitzchak’s sake, do not keep back water. Remember Yaakov, who crossed the Jordan’s water. He bravely rolled the stone off the mouth of the well of water. He wrestled with an angel made of fire and water, and therefore You promised to be with him through fire and water.
For Yaakov’s sake do not keep back water.
Remember Moshe, who was drawn in a reed basket out of the Nile’s water. Who helped Yitro’s daughters: He drew water and gave the sheep water. He struck the rock and out came water. For Moshes’ sake do not hold back water!
Remember Aharon, the High Priest, who, on Yom Kippur, washed himself five times with water, He prayed and was sprinkled with purifying water. He kept apart from a people who were as unstable as water. For Aharon’s sake do not hold back water.
Remember the Twelve Tribes whom You brought through the divided waters; For whom You sweetened bitter waters; Their descendants’ blood was spilled like water.
Turn to us, G-d, who are surrounded by troubles like water.
For the Jewish people’s sake, do not hold back water. You are Adonai, our G-d Who causes the wind to blow and the rain to fall. For blessing and not for curse. Amen.
For life and not for death. Amen.
For plenty and not for lack. Amen.
Prayer For Our Children’s Success

Prayer Against the Evil Eye
With the help of G-d the Almighty, He Who heals all who are ill, may He relieve you of all pain and negative experiences that befell you from the Predatory Gaze – whether you are a man or woman, old or young – may your body and soul not be harmed yet, neither your lungs or heart. Eliyahu Ha’Navi encountered the Angel Astribuda. Said Eliyahu to him: “Where are you going?” To which he replied: “I want to go to (insert the person’s name i.e. Sara the daughter of Miriam) and [eat] his limbs and flesh and drink his blood” — to which Eliyahu said to him: “Very well, but you have no permission to drink all the water, and you no longer have permission to harm him, nor his body, nor any one of his limbs – [even] in the smallest region of the entire world.
If someone directed against him a Predatory Gaze, may it not harm him in the daytime nor by night time, for we are all the children of Yosef the Righteous, so we cannot direct the Predatory Gaze — so may it not harm you either; and by the count of nine may the Blessed One heal you, and may you recover this very hour; this is the truth, in G-d’s name, Amen Selah!

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat and wept as we remembered Tzion. There, upon the willows we hung our harps. For there our captors demanded of us songs, and those who scorned us—rejoicing, [saying,] “Sing to us of the songs of Tzion.” How can we sing the song of Hashem on alien soil? If I forget you, Yerushalayim, let my right hand forget its dexterity. Let my tongue cleave to my palate if I will not remember you, if I will not bring to mind Yerushalayim during my greatest joy! Remember, Hashem, against the Edomites the day of the destruction of Yerushalayim, when they said, “Raze it, raze it to its very foundation!” O Babylon, who are destined to be laid waste, happy is he who will repay you in retribution for what you have inflicted on us. Happy is he who will seize and crush your infants against the rock!

L-rd, return our exiles as streams to arid soil. Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He goes along weeping, carrying the bag of seed; he will surely return with songs of joy, carrying his sheaves.By the sons of Korach, a psalm, a song whose basic theme is the holy mountains [of Tzion and Yerushalayim]. G-d loves the gates of Tzion more than all the dwelling places of Yaacov. Glorious things are spoken of you, eternal city of G d. For Chanukah
In the days of Matityahu, the son of Yochanan the High Priest, the Hasmonean and his sons, when the wicked Hellenic government rose up against Your people Israel to make them forget Your Torah and violate the decrees of Your will. But You, in Your abounding mercies, stood by them in the time of their distress. You waged their battles, defended their rights, and avenged the wrong done to them. You delivered the mighty into the hands of the weak, the many into the hands of the few, the impure into the hands of the pure, the wicked into the hands of the righteous, and the wanton sinners into the hands of those who occupy themselves with Your Torah. You made a great and holy name for Yourself in Your world, and effected a great deliverance and redemption for Your people Israel to this very day. Then Your children entered the shrine of Your House, cleansed Your Temple, purified Your Sanctuary, kindled lights in Your holy courtyards, and instituted these eight days of Chanukah to give thanks and praise to Your great Name.
For Purim
In the days of Mordechai and Esther, in Shushan the capital, when the wicked Haman rose up against them and sought to destroy and annihilate all the Jews, young and old, infants and women, in one day, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, and to take their spoil for plunder. But You, in Your abounding mercies foiled his counsel and frustrated his intention, and caused the evil he planned — to recoil on his own head, and they hanged him and his sons upon the gallows.
For all this, Hashem our G d, we give thanks to You and bless You. May Your Name be blessed by the mouth of every living being, constantly and forever, as it is written: When you have eaten and are satiated, you shall bless Hashem your G d for the good land which He has given you. Blessed are You, G-d, for the land and for the sustenance.
Have mercy, Hashem our G‑d, upon Israel Your people, upon Yerushalayim Your city, upon Tzion the abode of Your glory, upon the kingship of the house of David Your anointed, and upon the great and holy House over which Your Name was proclaimed. Our G‑d, our Father, (on weekdays) tend us, (on Shabat and Festivals) our Shepherd, nourish us, sustain us, feed us, and provide us with plenty; and speedily, Hashem our G‑d, grant us relief from all our afflictions. For this day is great and holy before You, to refrain from work and to rest thereon with love, in accordance with the commandment of Your will. In Your good will, Hashem our G d, bestow upon us tranquility, that there shall be no distress, sadness, or sorrow on the day of our rest. Prayer for the Redemption

May it be your will Hashem, our G-d and the G-d of our forefathers, that You shall receive With good will the prayers of Your people of Israel, which they have prayed to you throughout the generations everywhere in the world, particularly in the holy land of Israel. And in the merit of these prayers You shall tilt the scale of merit to redeem Your nation of Israel a complete redemption with kindness and mercy, with miracles and wonders.
And You shall subjugate under You the kingdom of blood which is the kingdom of Edom and the kingdom of Yishmael. In the merit of all the true righteous individuals who lived until this day and in the merit of all the righteous who are with us today. In the merit that we yearn to see Your complete redemption – please G-d, send us promptly Eliyahu the prophet, Your servant, and the King Mashiach and crown him on the people of Israel and upon the entire world.
Please G-d, do not return our prayers empty because we put our trust in You. Please answer us and do not delay Your response – for Your salvation I yearn. May my words and contemplation of my heart be received with good will – G-d my rock and my redeemer.
Prayer To Merit Living in The Holy Land

“Hashem, G-d, merciful and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in goodness and truth.” In Your bountiful mercy let me merit and all of Israel to have real desires, yearnings and longings to come to the Land of Israel, until I merit, in Your bountiful mercy and immense loving-kindness to manage to turn these desires into deeds, to travel and reach the Land of Israel, the holy Land, because of my very great distance from You and because of the immenseness of my materiality, the crookedness in my heart and the confusion of my mind. Because of all this I need to be in the Land in which the primary pillar of the source of holy belief exists. There, is found the root of the generality of the holiness of Israel. It is the Land which the Lord chose for His Chosen People, Israel.
It is the Land which G-d always cares for, the Land of true life, eternal life; a desirable, good and spacious land which You gave to our fathers as an inheritance in favour, a land in which is found the “city of our G-d, the Mount of His Sanctuary. Fair in situation, the joy of all the land”. Please Lord, merciful One, full of compassion; charitable One, full of loving-kindness. Good One who is full of good, Tzaddik, full of righteousness. Savior, full of deliverance. Do good with me, as is Your desire. Let me merit, out of compassion and loving-kindness and as a gift, to come very quickly to the Land of Israel, the holy Land, the Land which our forefathers inherited, the land in which all the true tzaddikim really desired and longed to be. Most of them came there and rectified whatever they did and merited to whatever they merited, accomplishing everything through the holiness of the Land of Israel which is the focal point of holiness of the whole world. Abraham, the Patriarch, worked and strived very many years to get there.
He beheld, saw, understood, searched, sealed, cut out, measured and counted until G-d revealed to him the holy Land, which is the foundation of the focal point of holiness, the foundation of belief; He promised him to give it as an inheritance to his offspring and their descendants in each of the generations. Therefore, have mercy upon us for Your Name’s sake. Even though I am completely and utterly despicable and worthless, in the merit and strength of Avraham and all the tzaddikim who merited to come to Israel, let me also merit quickly to skip and jump over all the obstacles, delays and disputes that prevent me from traveling to the Land of Israel. Let me break very quickly all the obstacles and come very speedily to the holy Land of Israel.
Prayer For Distress & A Broken Heart

Master of the World, merciful One, Who cures those with broken hearts, You know my broken and depressed heart. Have mercy on my broken heart for it is broken to smithereens; for the thoughts of my heart are scattered and dispersed to the ends of the earth. I am really responsible for all this but I did not have bad intentions. Master of the World, You know the hidden secrets of the world, You see into the chambers of our hearts. Before You, all the hidden thoughts of the heart are revealed. You know how hard this itself is for me; it confuses and obstructs me a lot. Even if sometimes in Your great compassion You send me some words and I begin to explain to You all that is in my heart, after a while my heart becomes blocked in the middle of speaking. So also my heart suddenly becomes sealed. I do not know what to do.
You seem to hide Your face from me. You have already revealed to us that this is caused by us blemishing our faith for this is considered to be like idol worship. Now, my Father in Heaven, what can I do to atone for this? Oh, what can I do to return Your face towards me. When will I merit to pure faith so that I can speak openly before You, as if face to face, like one speaks to a friend. Help me and save me so that I can accustom myself to sigh, deep sighs from the depths of the heart about my vast distance from You because of my many sins, especially blemishes to faith. Merit me to truly feel my pain and immense suffering such that I really sigh from the depths of my heart. May my spirit be broken within me in a way that will arouse Your true compassion upon me. Open Your hand in mercy and good will and bring me back to You in repentance face to face. Father in Heaven, faithful King, G-d of faith, You know everything that happens to us and to every individual regarding holy faith.
In You great compassion, You planted Your faith within us, but because of the immense number of our sins we still get thoughts of blasphemy. This is the main cause of our distance from You. It causes a concealment of Your face, which is the greatest of all our troubles and distress. Guard us and protect us from now on from all sorts of disbelief and blasphemous thoughts. Rather, merit me to believe in You Hashem our G-d, in Your Holy Torah and in Your tzaddikim with total faith, a faith that is pure and perfect. May my faith be so strong that it is as if I see You, eye to eye.
By this, may fear of You be on my face; let me feel shame, so that I will never sin again nor blemish in any way. Let awe, dread and fear of You, with great shame, descend upon me immediately knowing that You stand over me, and see my every deed, at all times and at every moment. And merit me, through the strength of my holy belief, to pray, plead and speak openly before You with all my heart and with proper thoughts. Let my mind be connected firmly to the words of prayer without any extraneous thoughts and may all my words and conversations with You be as if face to face, like someone speaking to his friend. Have mercy upon me like a father over his son. Save me on every occasion by all kinds of salvation. May You be blessed forever. Amen and Amen
Special Prayer For After Lighting Shabat Candles
May it be Your will, Hashem my G-d and the G-d of my fathers, that You be gracious to me (and to my spouse, children, parents) and to all my family; grant us and all Yisrael good and long life; remember us for good and blessing; consider us for salvation and compassion; bless us with great blessings; make our household complete, crowning our home with the feeling of Your Divine Presence dwelling among us.
Make me worthy to raise learned children and grandchildren, who are wise and understanding, who love and fear G-d, people of truth, holy and attached to G-d, who will dazzle the world with Torah and goodness and service of G-d. Please hear our prayers, in the merit of our matriarchs Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel and Leah, and ensure that the glow of our lives will never be dimmed. Show us the glow of Your face and we will be saved. Amen.
Prayer To Recite For Your Husband
(Taken From The Book, Sefer Ha’techinot U’Bakashot)
May it be Your will before You, G-d, our G-d and the G-d of our forefathers. The G-d of Avraham; the G-d of Yitzchak; and the G-d of Yaakov – that you protect, guard, Divinely supervise my husband from all harm and from any illness.
And give him a good life, a long life, a life of sustenance and honor. And provide us with seeds of sustainability (children), and worthy children who are righteous. And establish between us always a love and solidarity, peace and friendship.
And establish in our hearts a love for You and an Awe for You, so that we may do Your will and serve You wholeheartedly, like kosher Jews. And to do engage in charitable acts and kind deeds with Your nation, Yisrael.
And bless my husband with a full blessing with strength and peace, just as it states (Vayikra 6:24-26):
‘May G‑d bless you and guard you.’
‘May G‑d shine His countenance in your direction and be gracious to you.’
‘May G‑d turn His countenance toward you and place upon you peace.’
And as it states (Tehilim 41:3):
‘Hashem will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be praised in the land.’

Prayer For Happiness

“I will greatly praise G-d with my mouth. I will praise Him among the multitude. For He shall stand at the right hand of the poor one to save him from those who condemn his soul”. Master of the World, You who greatly pardon, He who wants repentance, teach me how to praise You now, how to gladden my soul now, in such a way that I merit by happiness to confess before You and detail before You all my sins that I have committed from when I was born until this day. Thereby may I merit to truly return to You. Master of the World, merciful Father, You know the joy wedged in my heart on one side and sadness on the other side. The greatness of the happiness and joy that I should feel as a result of my portion in life is immeasurable, beyond evaluation and beyond counting, for in Your great mercy, You granted me the merit to be born from the seed of Israel, the Chosen Nation from all the nations, and the Nation elevated above all languages.
You cherish us by all sorts of terms of endearment; You love Your people, Israel very greatly, love for ever and ever for all eternities. From Your love and compassion for Your People, Israel, You multiplied for us the learning of the Torah and the commandments, such that there is no end to the happiness that we have, for we should be happy and rejoice very greatly in every commandment for they give renewed strength to the soul and gladden the heart, as is written: “The statutes of the Lord are upright, gladdening the heart”. However, because of the multitude of my iniquities and immense willful transgressions, sadness, worries and melancholy bear down upon me at all times, “For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin”. You know that this sadness and melancholy does great harm to Your service, for, because of the sadness, my heart has become stupefied and my mind confused, until I cannot awaken myself to truly return to You. Even to confess before You and detail my sins and explain myself before You is very difficult and a burden, because my heart has become stupefied by the sadness and melancholy.
Therefore, I have come before You who are full of mercy, Master of happiness and joy, to ask that You have mercy upon me and teach me how to gladden my soul at all times, for, in Your great mercy, You have already taught me by the holy tzaddikim that even if a person is as he is, even if he did what he did, even so, even though he is there in the situation that he is in, he must force himself, with all his powers, to distance himself from sadness and to gladden his soul at all times, knowing that he has merited, nonetheless to be from the seed of Israel. He must also search and desire to find in himself good points from the many good deeds that he merited to perform over the years. Every single Jew has many good deeds to his credit, for even the sinners of Israel are full of good deeds, just like a pomegranate is full of seeds. In this, it is fitting that every Jew be happy and rejoice a great deal, even the least of the least and the worst of the worst. Master of the World, Master of Wonders, my Father, merciful Father, who is mighty and joy is in Your place. Come to my help and save me, so that I merit to collect and gather together all the fragments of happiness from all the commandments and good points that I have merited to, from when I was born until this day.
May all these fragments of happiness gather together in me, such that with great force they overcome the sadness and melancholy of my numerous iniquities, until I merit through this to be happy with all my might always. May I merit to always overcome and strengthen myself with happiness and joy by all sorts of ways of advice, which You taught me by Your holy tzaddikim. Help me to strengthen myself with great happiness, such that I merit to dance from happiness. Let me merit always to the happiness of a commandment, whether it is being happy in the fulfilling of a commandment, whether at a wedding, gladdening the bridegroom and bride, or whether at other happy occasions when fulfilling commandments. Always save me and help me to have at all times great joy and happiness stemming from the happiness of a commandment, so much so that I dance a great deal because of the happiness. May I merit to be happy and dance so much that I merit to traverse the entire structure of happiness and dancing which is comprised of 248 limbs and 365 sinews, for happiness is the root of the focal point of all the 613 commandments in the Torah, as it is written: “The statutes of the Lord are upright; they gladden the heart.”
In Your great mercy, let the happiness of all the truly good points that are in me from over the years be enflamed within me, in Your great loving-kindness; let the happiness shine with a great and wonderful light, such that, through this, I nullify all the darkness, obstacles, worries and sadness caused by the multiplicity of immense sins, iniquities and willful transgressions that I committed before You over the years. If they are very, very great, even so, in Your merciful eyes, virtues are considered greater and in Your great strength You can add a great light to the happiness of the commandments and good points that are in me, until they will overcome the darkness and sadness of my many iniquities and until the bad becomes nullified in relation to the good and the sadness of iniquities becomes nullified against the happiness of the commandments. May I merit always to be happy and dance a great deal through the happiness of a commandment, until I merit to really perfect happiness and to completely perfect all the structure of happiness and dancing.
Through this, may I merit, in Your bountiful mercy, to judge myself truly and confess before You at all times by speaking out the specific details of my sins. May no obstacles or delay prevent me from this. May forgetfulness not overcome me, so as to cause me to forget to specify one of my sins before You. Let nothing confuse me, rather, may I just merit to truly confess before You and detail, specifically each sin. You, who are full of compassion, be ready to help me so that I merit, by confessing to build and perfect the power of speech in the way of ultimate perfection. Through this, may the Supernal Voice join and be in complete unity with the power of speech in a way that, through this, all my sins, iniquities and willful transgressions be rectified. May I perfect all the Names that are within Your great Name, which I spoiled. Master of the World, Master of the World, who will give me now a mouth to speak and explain myself before You? How can I now find the strength to pour out my heart as water before the Countenance of Hashem?
Master of the World, You, who are full of mercy – “My King and my G-d, I will pray to You” – teach me how to triumph over You so that You bring me to truly repent completely before You. My Father, Rock, Redeemer, Deliverer, who observes in order to better my end; help me in Your tremendous mercy, in Your great saving, in Your wonderful ways of advice, such, that I merit to always be happy. “Gladden the soul of Your servant, for to You Lord, I lift up my soul.” Strengthen me and embolden me each time to overcome sadness and make happiness dominant. Strengthen me with all sorts of happiness and gladden my soul through all the paths of happiness that the holy sages taught us, in such a way that I merit always to be happy and that I not let sadness approach me in any way whatsoever; let sadness and melancholy have no strength to stupefy my heart, Heaven forbid. Let nothing confuse my mind, rather, may I merit at all times to overcome everything by great happiness and tremendous joy until I merit to speak out my confession before You with happiness and to pour out my heart before the Countenance of the Lord and to elucidate myself before You every day in a broken and contrite heart, as befits me.
Afterwards, may I immediately return to a feeling of happiness with great vigour and strength and to increase the extra happiness every time with all my might until I merit to truly repent and to serve You always, “with joyfulness and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things”. For upon Your great, awesome, holy Name, I relied. You can help me even now to always strengthen my happiness. I will rejoice and be happy in Your saving. “I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your Name, most High”. Draw happiness upon us from the source of happiness, from the happiness of the future which is ready to come to us very soon through our righteous Mashiach, as it is written: “For you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”
Hasten and hurry our redemption; comfort and gladden us and all Your Nation, Israel, very speedily in our days. Fulfill very speedily that which is written, “For G-d shall comfort Tzion; He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden and her desert like the garden of Hashem; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.” Amen and Amen.
Prayer That Promotes Happiness
(Elu Devarim / These Are The Items – From the Mishnah Of Peah)
Note: Chachamim teach that through the engagement of these various items, one can begin to attain happiness. The world of asiyah, positive actions and good deeds gladdens the heart. And the study of Torah which leads to the knowledge and understanding of life, as well as invigorates to actively participate in the creation on a deeper and more profound level, certainly creates happiness and surpasses them all)
These are the things that have no limits. A person enjoys their fruit in this world, and lives upon their principal in the world to come. And they are:
Honoring one’s father and mother; performing acts of love and kindness; arriving at the house of study punctually mornings as well as evenings; showing hospitality to guests; visiting the sick; providing charity for a couple about to marry; seeing to the needs of the deceased; praying with devotion; being a peacemaker between man and his fellow man; and the study of Torah is equivalent to them all (leads to all the others).
Nishmat Kol Chai – The Soul Of Every Living Thing
(Recited To Praise G-d)
The soul of every living being shall bless Your Name, Hashem our G-d, the spirit of all flesh shall always glorify and exalt Your remembrance, our King. From this world to the World to Come, You are G-d and other than You we have no king, redeemer, or savior. He who liberates, rescues and sustains, answers and is merciful in every time of distress and anguish, we have no king, helper or supporter but You!
G-d of the first and the last, G-d of all creatures, Master of all Generations, Who is extolled through a multitude of praises, Who guides His world with kindness and His creatures with mercy. Hashem is truth; He neither slumbers nor sleeps. He Who rouses the sleepers and awakens the slumberers. Who raises the dead and heals the sick, causes the blind to see and straightens the bent. Who makes the mute speak and reveals what is hidden. To You alone we give thanks!
Were our mouth as full of song as the sea, and our tongue as full of joyous song as its multitude of waves, and our lips as full of praise as the breadth of the heavens, and our eyes as brilliant as the sun and the moon, and our hands as outspread as the eagles of the sky and our feet as swift as hinds — we still could not thank You sufficiently, Hashem our G-d and G-d of our forefathers, and to bless Your Name for even one of the thousand and thousands of thousands and myriad myriads of favors, miracles and wonders that you performed for our ancestors and for us.
At first You redeemed us from Egypt, Hashem our G-d, and liberated us from the house of bondage. In famine You nourished us, and in plenty you sustained us. From sword you saved us; from plague you let us escape; and from severe and enduring diseases you spared us. Until now Your mercy has helped us, and Your kindness has not forsaken us. Do not abandon us, Hashem our G-d, forever.
Therefore, the organs that you set within us and the spirit and soul that you breathed into our nostrils, and the tongue that you placed in our mouth – all of them shall thank and bless and praise and glorify, exalt and revere, be devoted, sanctify and declare the sovereignty of Your Name, our King. For every mouth shall offer thanks to You; every tongue shall vow allegiance to You; every knee shall bend to You; every erect spine shall prostrate itself before You; all hearts shall fear You; and all innermost feelings and thoughts shall sing praises to Your name, as it is written: “All my bones shall say, Hashem who is like You? You save the poor man from one who is stronger than he, the poor and destitute from the one who would rob him.”
The outcry of the poor You hear, the screams of the destitute You listen to, and You save. And it is written: “Sing joyfully, O righteous, before Hashem; for the upright praise is fitting.”
By the mouth of the upright You shall be exalted;
By the lips of the righteous shall You be blessed;
By the tongue of the devout shall You be sanctified;
And amid the holy shall You be lauded.
And in the assemblies of the myriads of Your people, the House of Israel, it is the duty of all creatures, before you O Hashem, our G-d and G-d of our forefathers to thank, laud, praise, glorify, exalt, adore, render triumphant, bless, raise high, and sing praises – even beyond all expressions of the songs and praises of David, the son of Yishai, Your servant, Your anointed.
And thus may Your name be praised forever- our King, the G-d, the Great and holy King – in heaven and on earth. Because for you it is fitting – O Hashem our G-d and G-d of our forefathers, forever. Song and praise, lauding and hymns, power and dominion, triumph, greatness and strength, praise and splendor, holiness and sovereignty, blessings and thanksgivings to Your Great and Holy Name; from this world to the World to Come You are God. Blessed are You Hashem, G-d, King exalted through praises, G-d of thanksgivings, Master of Wonders, Creator of all souls, Master of all deeds, Who chooses the musical songs of praise – King, Unique One, G-d, Life-Giver of the world. Prayer For Sweetening Judgments

I believe with complete faith that this anguish and agony that has come to me is Divine Providence that came from You Hashem – and I accept it with love. [And I understand] that all this has come upon me because of my many sins. And You G-d are righteous in everything You apportion to me. For You deal in truth, but I have sinned.
And may it be Your will, that these troubles be an atonement for all my many sins and may it atone for Am Yisrael. And if it were strict justice that needs to be met, I would need to recount in full detail, and to repent, and confess, concerning the sins and wrongdoings that due to them all these troubles have come upon me.
But it is revealed and known before You [G-d], that I do not know the extent of what I have done and only You know. Therefore, may it be Your will my Father in Heaven, that You erase, and uproot the sins, the indiscretions, and crimes that caused my troubles.
And may all the judgments that are upon me be sweetened, and also upon all the house of Yisrael, forever, Amen.
Note: The Holy Shomer Emunim wrote the following addition: “One who will recite the above prayer will have the merit to have all the judgments be sweetened and reversed to good – and that all one’s troubles will be regarded as an atonement for his sins. And this is especially true if one accustoms himself to reciting this prayer regularly after having transgressed even minutely. There is no measure to the pleasure that we provide Hashem through this, and great happiness is disseminated throughout the upper realms. For the way of Hashem is to often test man in his faith in Him, and if man strengthens his faith in G-d – then even if a harsh decree has been pronounced upon him G-d forbid, the judgment upon him will be sweetened.”
Prayer For Heartfelt Faith

Master of the World, merit us to perform the mitzvah of “And you shall love Hashem your G-d with all your heart” which is the source of all the mitzvot. May I engage in studying Torah a lot and serve Torah scholars. Merit me to carry out business affairs with faith such that the Name of Heaven becomes loved through me. By this, enable me to reach a spiritual level which is above time and to achieve expanded consciousness. As a result, merit me to pray with great concentration and a pure mind. Merit me to holy eyes and a pure and very clear power of vision such that through this alone I will be able to look at something with wisdom and intelligence and with perfect faith.
Let me believe that in each object there are letters and holy sparks. By this looking, may all the sparks rise that are clothed in the object so they return to their source in the aspect of “Engraved like a signet ring, Holy to G-d.” And from the letters and sparks may words be made and by these holy words bestow much good to the House of Israel for this is Your main delight, so to speak. Have mercy on all the letters and holy sparks which are in a deep exile and speedily redeem them for Your Name’s sake until Your glory is lifted up and exalted.
The Traveler’s Prayer
(Usually recited when traveling at least a distance of 2.8 miles out of your own town)
Note: Please refer to the additions on the bottom for precise details concerning what travels would require the recitation of this prayer)
May it be Your will, G‑d, our G‑d and the G‑d of our fathers, that You lead us in peace and direct our steps in peace, and guide us in peace, and support us in peace, and cause us to reach our destination in life, joy, and peace (If one intends to return immediately, one adds: and return us in peace).
Save us from every enemy and ambush, from robbers and wild beasts on the trip, and from all kinds of punishments that rage and come to the world. May You confer blessing upon the work of our hands and grant me grace, kindness, and mercy in Your eyes and in the eyes of all who see us, and bestow upon us abundant kindness and hearken to the voice of our prayer, for You hear the prayers of all.
Blessed are You G‑d, who hearkens to prayer.
(Then recite the following verses 3 times)
Breishit 32:2-3:
And Yaakov went on his way and angels of G-d met him. And Yaakov said when he saw them, “This is the camp of G-d,” and he named the place Machanayim.
Additional Notes
A person is required to recite the Traveler’s Prayer whenever he takes a “long-distance” journey. The kind of travel is not important, whether by foot, animal, wagon, ship, automobile, railroad or even airplane. Even traveling on highways or by rail also involves a certain degree of danger according to the Mishnah Berurah.
The Shulchan Aruch states that a journey involving the obligation to recite this prayer with a concluding blessing must be to a destination at least one parsah 2.8 miles, beyond the city limits. Uninhabited areas, such as gardens and orchards, which are on the outskirts of the city and beyond houses are considered part of the required measurement.
If one is traveling less than 2.8 miles outside the city limits [though there is no requirement], he may still recite the prayer but without the concluding blessing. The Tehilat Le’David rules that one may also conclude with the blessing but omit G‑d’s name.
If the area in which one is traveling is dangerous, then the prayer should be recited even for a journey less than 2.8 miles. Some Rabbinic authorities such as in the work of the “Kitzur Shulchan Aruch” translate a distance based on the time that it would actually take to walk a parsah, which is 72 minutes. Thus, any journey that takes less than 72 minuteswould not require this prayer. However, if one wants to recite it without the concluding blessing he may do so.
The Mishnah Berurah states that when one is traveling more than a parsah (2.8 miles), but there are inhabited areas along the way, on either side, within a parsah, as is common on many of today’s highways, it is questionable whether the prayer should be said or not. Therefore, it is better that it be recited without the concluding blessing. It would seem therefore according to this, that if the highway cuts through the city, even if the highway is long, the prayer is nor recited at all since technically, the traveler really never left the city.
Once one has left the city, even though there are houses constantly along the way, he should still recite the prayer immediately and not wait until the houses cease. Nowadays, the main danger is accidents, especially due to speeding. Therefore, the prayer should be said once he is on the highway outside the city limits.
If one is traveling between two cities and the distance is less than 2 parsah combined (5.6 miles), then the prayer is not said .
Even though there is a principle that those who are on a mission for to engage in a good deed are protected from harm, they must still recite this prayer .
Prayer For the Yahrtzet of Rachel Imeinu
Please G-d, O’ merciful King. Behold I have come today to bow at the grave site of Rachel Imeinu. Give me the merit in the merit of her good deeds that she engaged in all the days of her life – and in her merit, righteousness, charity and prayers You remembered her whilst she was barren. And you opened her womb as it states, “And G-d remembered Rachel and He heard her and turned to her and He opened her womb.” And for the sake of her charitable heart that she did for her sister Leah, that she gave her the signs so that she will not be shamed from the deception of Lavan her father.
Please do remember her merit and kind deeds and may that merit be upon me and all of Your nation, Israel – that You accept our prayers and heed our call and all that we ask before You. And fill our heartfelt requests for the good and create salvations and mercy that comes forth from the heavens on high. And allow Your ears to harken and open Your eyes and see our loneliness and the city that is named after You and its desolation – for we have been mocked and ridiculed by the gentiles who utter that we have no purpose or hope. And if not for our sake, then for Your sake shall You act. Until when shall Your strength be held in captivity and Your glory in the hands of the oppressors?
And we have received traditionally from our holy Rabbis that our forefather Yaakov who buried Rachel our mother on the way to the land of Israel in the city of Bet Lechem, that this was done according to G-d’s word so that she may come to her children’s aid in the future. For when Nevuzaradan exiled the Jewish people and they passed in chains through Bet Lechem – Rachel came out of her grave and begged G-d that He have mercy on them. As it states, “A voice is heard on high, a wailing and despairing cry. Rachel weeps for her children. She refuses to be consoled over the children who are gone.”
And You Our G-d, replied to her as it states, “So did G-d say, ‘Do not raise your voice in crying any longer and your eyes no longer with tears for there is reward for your deed, so says G-d, and they will still return from the land of their enemy and there is yet hope for your future says G-d, and the children will return to their borders.”
What shall we speak G-d? What shall we utter before You? If for the first exile that lasted only 70 years Rachel our foremother made such a disturbance in the entire world for our sake – what would she say now? For this exile is bitter and long. For it has been more than 1,900 years that we have been wandering from one exile to the next – scattered and lost among the four corners of the world and under the leadership of foreign leaders and princes. And we are downtrodden and mocked and appear before them as thorns – and every day their curses upon us worsen and their main intent is to annihilate our spirit and remove our faith and holy Torah from us – and their hope is that the name ‘Israel’ shall no longer have a memory in the annals of history.
And even the young and innocent children among us they have set their eyes upon and they plot how to wean them away from their faith that is strong and inherited from their forefathers. What shall you say Rachel our mother? How will you be able to rest in your grave? Awaken, be diligent and bring to life all those buried in Chevron – and seek Moshe our holy shepherd and all our holy forefathers. Stand please, stand firm and come before His holy majesty and beseech Him for the sake of the remnant of Israel His nation – the ones who are settled in foreign lands, alone, held captive, lowly, and shamed – and trapped in the depths of their contamination.
Until when G-d shall this pain prolong and when will Your enemy be completely and eternally eradicated? Until when will the evil doers succeed while Your children remain shamed and mocked? Until when will You not have mercy on Your nation Israel and on Your land and on the holy city of Jerusalem and on Your holy Tabernacle that has in the past sanctified Your honor. Behold this is the Torah of Your house, the sanctuary and the mountain upon which Your holy temple stood to be preserved for all time. But it all went up in flames, the evil doers ransacked and pillaged, and foxes treaded upon the holy ground. And the holy city, that was full of elevation, the city of G-d, the rock – behold she now sits desolate and forlorn. And if we through our sins and the sins of our fathers caused all this to take place, are You not the merciful G-d? Shall you abandon and reject us forever?
You are the One who shall rise and have mercy upon Zion for her time of grace has come. Therefore, we have come before You bowing our heads and surrendering ourselves to You with a lowly spirit and broken heart – that You remember for our sake, the merit of our holy forefathers and the merit of the righteous foremother, Rachel. And may You forgive us, may You accept our atonement for all our iniquities and transgressions that we sinned before You. And please assist us to repent completely – and lengthen our days with good and our years with pleasantness as we continue to live upon the face of the earth, and upon the holy ground. Please redeem us so that we may be able to learn and to teach, to preserve Your laws and observe all the words and commandments in Your Torah with pure intent and a genuine willingness, without any conflict.
And remove from upon us and all Your nation, Israel, all kinds of illness (especially from …. Utter the name of individuals). And provide us with strength and health for our bodies so that we may serve You day and night without ailment. And please provide us with a good livelihood, rains that fall in their proper time, and may this year be a blessed year full of crops and a healthy harvesting that yields good fruit and vegetables. And give us our needs in plenty to each and every individual so that we should never lack for anything all the days of our life. And give us the merit to raise our children (especially… say the names of the child/children, and close family members). Please offer them success in all their ways and endeavors. And I will without swearing, offer this oil that I will use to light candles for the elevation of the soul of Rachel our mother and for the soul of Rabbi Meir the Master of Miracles as well as the souls of all the righteous leaders and teachers of past and present (especially… include rabbis, rebetzins currently living). May they merit to lengthened days and years and may not one of their children perish whilst their mothers or fathers are still living.
And may we all be worthy and merit to raise righteous children, pure in their goodness and character. And may they merit to their partner in life that they can marry – a partner who is worthy of them and pure, a partner who will not be exposed to indecency, contamination or blemishes of this material world so that it should not effect the future seeds or our current families. And may we merit to see all our forefathers and foremothers as we all gather together at the time of the gathering of the exiles to experience the final redemption, speedily in our days, Amen.
